AB Restaurang Rouletter was founded in 1963 by Bill Lindwall and Rolf Lundström of Sweden. In 1972 they changed their name to Cherry and the iconic Cherry was introduced. In 2005 Cherry announces that the company shall be divided into three parts; Betsson, Cherry and Net Entertainment. 2006: The traditional gaming operation in the business sector Cherry Casino merges in a new group and changes name into Cherryföretagen. The old Cherry changes name into Betsson. In 2013 Cherrycasino.com goes back to its roots and becomes part of Cherry AB again.
