Obv.: {AII} / 2004 , his head facing left within circle, twelve stars and date around, his monogram to r.: crowned letter "A" with the Roman numeral "II" below, weak strike. Die-break within inner circle: starting below chin, continuing before left mouth and from eye to the top of head and direction third star from top right.
Rev.: 2 EURO / CENT / LL , a globe showing Europe in relation to Africa and Asia, value to l., twelve stars at the end of six transverse lines.
