Obv.: VICTORIA – QUEEN , her crowned and robed bust of the queen facing left (inverted V at centre of bust truncation), all within a raised, toothed rim. Obverse type A - The front of the dress has 4 panels. A flower appears at the right on the bottom panel.
Rev.: 1/4 / RUPEE / INDIA / 1862 , within an entwined scrollwork of Indian flora, all surrounded by a raised, toothed rim. Reverse I - The top flower has petals at its base that are long and curve downward. The slash in "1/4" is long, the top almost touching a flower.
