Tenedos, island off the coast of the Troad, modern reproduction, genuine silver issues struck ca. 100-80 BC, modern bronze cast ca. 1850-1915 AD.,
Æ Tetradrachm (ø 28-30 mm / 11,37 g), bronze, axes about medal alignment ↑↑ (ca. 20°), smoothed edge with some remaining casting bubbles,
Obv.: Janiform head of bearded male facing left (Zeus?) and female facing right wearing stephanos (Hera?).
Rev.: TENEΔIΩN , labrys (double headed axe), TENEΔIΩN above, bunch of grapes and ΠAY -monogram to lower l., Satyr(?) with cornucopia(?) standing left to lower r., all in laurel wreath.
