This city was in eastern Lydia, and occupied the territory between Blaundus and Tripolis north of the River Sindrus
(BMC., Lydia, p. xciv). Quasi-autonomous and Imperial coins—Domitian to Sev. Alex. Inscr., CΑΛΗÎΩÎ, and in Domitian’s time ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑÎΟ- ΠΟΛЄΙΤΩΠCΑΛΗÎΩÎ. Magistrates’ titles, Archon or First Archon. Also Hiereus in Trajan’s time.
