Obv.: IMP / CAESAR / [DIVI F / DIVI] IVL[I ] , bare head of Julius Caesar left, back to back with bare head of Octavian right. 
Rev.: [C·I·V] , legend above prow of quinquireme right, [decorated with eye]; multi-story forecastle and standard or corvus above.
RPC I 152, 517 (104 specimens listed) ; De la Tour 2943 ; Coh. 22, 7 ; CRE Ashmolean 1081 ; Sear, GIC, 149 ; Berger, "Kalkriese 1", p. 44 : 8(-9?) halved pieces in Kalkriese (Varus-battle), 18 halved and 7 complete in Haltern, ca. 60 halved in Vetera, 2 halved und 1 complete in Nimwegen, 14 halved und 1 complete in Asberg (Asciburgium), 89 halved und 18 complete in Neuss (Novaesium), in total: 191 haled + 27 complete specimens, according Berger.
