China, empire, Quing (Ch'ing) dynasty (1644 - 1912 AD.), emperor De Zong (1875-1908), reign title Guang Xu (Kuang-Hsü), Jiangsu province, 1906 AD.,
1 Cent / 10 Cash (ø 28,3 mm / 7,06 g), copper, 7,4 g. theor. mint weight, mintage ? , axes medal alignment ↑↑ (0°), plain edge, die breaks at 3, 5 and 7 o´clock on the reverse, 
Obv.: 午...... 丙//  大 / 幣 - 蘇 - 銅 /  清 // 部 - 戶 // 文十錢制當 , at center: 蘇 , incuse Chinese symbol , the mint mark and abbreviated name for the Jiangsu province mint on a raised disc, Chinese symbols 大 銅 清 幣 (top-right-down-left) "Tai-ch'ing T'ung-pi" - "big copper coin of the Quing" within beaded circle, flanked outside by 部 - 戶 (Board of Revenue), on top four characters in Manchu outside circle (for Jiangsu), flanked by Chinese sexagenary date system symbols for date 1906 (午 - 丙= bǐngwŭ, "firehorse" 43th year of the Chinese system, 1906 AD.); beneath, also outside circle, value in Chinese characters near the bottom of the coin 文十錢制當  which means the coin is worth ten cash.
Rev.: 造 年 緒 光 / TAI-CHING-TI-KUO COPPER COIN , ( 光  統 年 造, "Guang Xu Nien-tsao" - "made during the Guang Xu years" in Chinese characters), dragon within a beaded circle, incuse swirl on pearl, 7 flames above.
