Curtis Clay: Göbl cites three examples from a single die pair in Cunetio Hoard 501 and comments, "Apparently a die engraver's mixup: the type was intended for the legend VICTORIA AVGG, but VICTORIA GERM was mistakenly engraved instead."
This coin also appears to be from the same pair of dies.
