French medallic artists : Jean-Baptiste Émile Dropsy (1848 – 1923) was a French jewellery designer working chiefly in the Art Nouveau style. He designed primarily medal-form jewels, typically with female faces, and many with religious themes. Dropsy won a third class medal for his display at the 1898 Paris Salon.
